OUR VISION

our MISSION

Geyer Springs exists to glorify God by making disciples who love God and love others.

our values

biblical authority

God's Word is the ultimate authority of belief and behavior, and its truths will boldly guide our preaching, teaching, and decisions.
2 Timothy 3:16; John 17:17; Hebrews 4:12

gospel centrality

Believing the Gospel is for everyone, we will share its truth of redemption, reconciliation, and restoration through preaching, compassion and hospitality.
Matthew 28:19; Revelation 7:9; Luke 19:10; 1 Corinthians 9:20-22

prayerful dependence

Prayer aligns our hearts and minds to the voice and direction of God, and we humble ourselves before the Lord through intentional prayer.
Philippians 4:6; Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

transformational discipleship

Spiritual growth is an intentional process, and every believer should be a true disciple and a disciple-maker of Jesus.
Matthew 28:19; Colossians 1:28-29; 2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 Peter 1:13-15

authentic relationships

Relationships are at the center of our created purpose, and we hope to respond rightly to God through worshipful obedience and to others through genuine Christ-centered relationships.
Acts 2:42-27; John 13:34-35; Matthew 22:37-39; 1 Corinthians 1:10

kingdom cooperation

Partnering with our like-minded agencies, non-profit organizations, churches, and individuals increases our opportunity to meet needs and extend the Gospel to people we would not otherwise be able to serve effectively.
Romans 15:5-6; 2 Corinthians 8:1-7

our strategy

worship

We desire every person to be an active participant in corporate worship and to respond passionately through praising God, giving of our resources, and observing baptisms and communion.

connect

God designed us for relationships, so we strive to connect people in small groups for friendship, spiritual growth, and encouragement.

serve

We were created for good works. An expression of loving God and loving others is a commitment to serve the community and serve the church.

multiply

Our goal is for every believer to have a passion for and engage in making disciples who make disciples.

our PATHWAY

We believe there is a pathway for spiritual maturity.  Our hope is every believer understands where they are on the pathway and is moving toward being a disciple who makes disciples.  We have identified different phases in the life of a believer: salvation, baptism/testimony, Biblical community, spiritual growth and accountability, living on mission, and participating in Kingdom expansion.  Each phase is a valuable step along the pathway of discipleship and we order our ministries and our mission around these unique realities.
