Upward Sports is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for K5 through 6th-grade boys and girls that promotes the whole athlete through character development, self-esteem, and the sports-specific skills to play the game. Here at Geyer Springs, our goal is for players to be introduced to Jesus and to be trained in their specific sport. In this program, every child plays! We offer three Sports Leagues

Flag Football is for boys/girls in kindergarten (2024-2025 school year) through the 6th grade. League fee includes reversible jersey, flag belt, wrist coach and an end of season gift. Shorts are NOT included this season. *All players will need black shorts for games.*

Cheerleading is for girls 4 years old (by August 1st) through the 5th grade. League fee includes cheer top, skort, pom poms, megaphone, hair bow, and an end of season gift.

Evaluation Info:
Cheerleaders will NOT be evaluated.

Soccer leagues at Geyer Springs FBC are for boys and girls 4 years old - 7th grade. We look to develop the skills of each player and also give everyone an opportunity to learn the game, play the game and become more confident as a player. We also look to enhance players mentally, spiritually, and athletically through teaching skills, drills, and learning the fundamentals of the game at age appropriate levels.

Upward Soccer is offered during the spring semester of each year beginning in early March with evaluations and ending in mid-May with our Upward End of Season Celebration.

We offer co-ed leagues for boys and girls 4-years-old (by March 1) through 1st grade. We offer separate leagues for boys and girls 2nd grade through 7th grade. Practices are one night per week with most games taking place on Saturdays.
