Upward Sports at Geyer Springs

Promoting the Discovery of Jesus Through Sports


Upward Sports is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for K5 through 6th grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child and also the sports specific skills to play the game. Here at Geyer Springs, our goal is for students to be introduced to the Gospel and be trained in their specific sport. In this program, every child plays! We offer three sports leagues:


Upward Soccer – See below for details of our 2019 soccer season!

Upward Flag Football – Check back in July for registration!

Upward Cheerleading – Check back in July for registration!

UPWARD SOCCER

Upward Soccer is offered during the spring semester of each season beginning in early March with evaluations and ending in mid-May with our Upward Awards Celebration.

Leagues for 4 year olds*-6th grade

Players must be 4 by March 5th, 2019 to play. K4 and K5 will play in Separate coed divisions.

Separate leagues for boys and girls in 1st-6th grades.

Featuring 7v7 for 3rd-4th grade and 5th and 6th Grade Players with a postseason tournament for 5th and 6th Graders

League fee is $75 and deadline to register on March 5th.

All players must attend one soccer evaluation!

Evaluations will take place at Raymar Fields (1701 Raymar Rd., Bryant, Ar 72022)


Monday March 4th

4 year olds (by march 5th, 2019)-Kindergarten: 3pm-4pm

Boys and girls in 1st-6th grade: 4pm-6pm


Tuesday March 5th 

4 year olds (by march 5th, 2019)-Kindergarten: 3pm-4pm

Boys and girls in 1st-6th grade: 4pm-6pm


Practices begin the week of March 25 2019

First Game: Saturday, April 6, 2019

End of Season Celebration: Sunday, May 19, 2019

Upward Flag Football/Cheerleading is offered during the fall semester beginning in mid-August with evaluations and ending in mid-October with our Upward Awards Celebration.

GS Youth Competitive Shooting Team

Ever wanted to learn to shot Trap or Sporting Clays? Well we can help, the GS Youth Competitive Shooting Team trains youth in Middle and High School in the importance of Gun Safety, the Fun of Competitive Shooting and of the Great Outdoors. If you are a youth from 6th to 12th grade and have ever had an interest in learning to Shoot and being part of a Team, new squads are forming now and we would love to talk to you.
